Northern California Sunrise

Despite what the date on the picture says, this was taken August 31, 2007 somewhere before Red Bluff, CA as my family and I were leaving for Washington. It was a beautiful sunrise to capture.

When we left Washington on Sunday, September 2, 2007, my husband and I stood outside of his Aunt's home and watched the sunrise over Mount St. Helens with our cups of coffee, listening to coyotes and roosters greet the day. It was 10 times more incredible then this sunrise.

Here is a picture of the sun cresting over the mountains, shining down onto a blueberry farm that still has a morning fog blanketing it outside of Amboy, WA.

A tranquil sea

This is a shot of the marina in Monterey, CA facing the storm that rolled through last weekend as it rolls back out to sea. What started out as a very blustery day ended rather tranquilly.....
